Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026. This policy explains what Daily Protein Water collects, why, and what your choices are.

The short version

We do not sell anything, we do not sell your data, and we do not ask you to create an account. The only personal information we hold is what you choose to send us by email.

Information we collect

Information you give us

If you email us a correction, question, or suggestion, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to fix what you told us about. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our web server records standard log data when a page is requested: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time. This is used for security, troubleshooting, and understanding which articles are useful.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and see which articles people find. Where analytics are in use, they are configured to avoid collecting information that identifies you personally.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. WordPress may set functional cookies if you leave a comment or log in as an administrator. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

Advertising

We currently run no advertising and no affiliate links. If that changes, this page will be updated before any advertising appears, and we will describe what third parties are involved.

Third parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Our hosting provider processes server logs on our behalf. Articles link out to external sites such as NIH, Mayo Clinic, and journal publishers; once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies, not ours.

Data retention

Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle the matter and any follow-up. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we hold very little, this is usually just your email correspondence. Contact us through the contact page and we will respond.

Children

This site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
